Mortgage Rates Again at Historic Lows (yea yea boring... but you need to read this)

You are probably bored about hearing the same news about mortgage rates. If you've clicked on this post then I appreciate you pushing through the boredom. The bottom line is rates have gone down, not up as predicted. Will they go up? Sure, eventually. Probably later this year. What does this mean for you? If you have been thinking about owning a home, selling a home, or want to get out of renting, now is the time. Not because I want you to, but because it's more affordable. Why pay more for the same home if you wait till the summer? or even fall?

It is common knowledge that a great number of homes sell during the spring-buying season. For that reason, many homeowners hold off on putting their homes on the market until then. The question is whether or not that will be a good strategy this year. The other listings that do come out in the spring will represent increased competition to any seller.
